This is one of a series of paintings exploring the French countryside. The paintings focus on a biennial exhibition that combines art and gardens. International artists are each given plots in the grounds of Chaumont Chateau where they produce the most wonderful landart there is to see in France. The series reflects two particular gardens that made a big impression on me.
