I thought I’d let you know that my last exhibition was a group show at Chelsea Town Hall in London in June 2025. Previously I had a show at Wolfson College’s Gallery, in Oxford  that ran from October – December 2024. There was a ‘MEET THE ARTIST’ event as part of the show. Similarly,  when I showed at Kendrew Barn Gallery of St John’s in July 2026, this was accompanied by a drawing session with a model.

I thought it useful to mention other major shows; in Kirkcudbright in Scotland, where I had 2 weeks at the Harbour Gallery in July 2025, and also in 2026 when VAS, Visual Arts Scotland, accepted ‘A Rock and a hard place‘ that was shown in Common Ground; the Living Landscape from January – May 2026. These happily coincided with the London’s Chelsea Art Society when I showed ‘Haven‘ and ‘Foreshore Dreich‘.

I like to ensure I have a long term programme of exhibitions, and more to the point that I manage the issues of framing and preparing the paintings for show. Sometimes this is not possible and we have to roll with events. “Tant pis” as Cezanne might have said. It is what we have to live with during these difficult times.
