FRIENDS
I thought I’d let you know that my last exhibition was a group show at Chelsea Town Hall in London in June 2024. Previously I had a show at Wolfson College’s Gallery, in Oxford that ran from October – December 2023. There was a ‘MEET THE ARTIST’ event as part of the show.
I like to ensure I have a long term programme of exhibitions, and more to the point that I manage the issues of framing and preparing the paintings for show. Sometimes this is not possible and we have to roll with events. “Tant pis” as Cezanne might have said. It is what we have to live with during these difficult times.

Wolfson College
Wolfson College, Oxford 8th October 2023 to 9th December 2023Wolfson College in Oxford was the venue for an exhibition of recent paintings. The College Art Committee, aware of previous exhibitions, hosted ‘Ancient and Natural Spaces – a Personal Journey’. Some 25 recent paintings of 2023 were shown in this masterly designed college. Chelsea Old Town Hall 12th April 2024 to 17th April 2024The Chelsea Art Show at the Old Town Hall exhibited ‘Matador’ in 2024. This painting drew on Sickert and others to provide a dynamic interpretation of a Nimes event.
